I was able to attend the performance in December, and really enjoyed myself. The timbre of the instruments was rich, and the way the textures overlapped with each other was powerful. This is one of the few opportunities I’ve had to listen to traditional Japanese music in a concert environment and would definitely recommend everyone who is interested to go to such a performance when they can!
